In continuation of my original “Out with the Old, In with the New (well sort of) post, I’m taking the opportunity to use this blog post as my official announcement of my latest and greatest career news. For those of you who are new to my blog and slightly confused by this post, just dart your eyes twice over to the right and read on! OK, now that you’re back… here’s what’s been driving my immense excitement and delight since I got back from my Beirut trip.
Whilst in Lebanon I was contemplating the idea of moving back (I love my country; I love the people, I love the weather, I love the culture) and instantly one thing led to another and I all of a sudden found myself accepting the most astounding offer from the CEO of BBDO Middle East (Impact BBDO), who is based in Beirut.
Preface:
Digital advertising is fast emerging in Lebanon (see blog post, The Middle East, and why we should pay attention) and the Middle East. The pace in which they are accelerating is the premise behind why Impact BBDO are fast acting to get some groundbreaking digital work off its feet.

As of February 9th, I will be heading up the digital department at Impact BBDO as the Account Director, Digital.
To say that this opportunity overjoys me is an understatement. Not only do I feel intensely passionate about what I do and the industry in which I operate, I also feel that I have soooooo much playroom to make an impact in Lebanon.
